About the Role

We are partnering with a leading insurance and financial services organization to identify a dynamic VP Data Management & Governance. This executive will establish and oversee an enterprise-wide data-governance framework, driving integrity, compliance, and accountability across all data assets.

• Develop and enforce enterprise data governance policies and standards.
• Lead initiatives for data ownership, classification, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Oversee metadata management, data catalogs, and lineage documentation.
• Chair governance councils and collaborate with security and engineering leaders.
• Foster a culture of data stewardship and informed decision‑making.
• 10–12 years in data governance/management, with leadership experience.
• Expertise in data privacy, compliance, and governance tools.
• Bachelor's / Master’s in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
• CDMP or DM‑BOK certification preferred.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
