Position Overview
We are seeking a Vice President, Social to join Highwire’s digital and social team and deliver world-class strategies for clients across B2B technology, cybersecurity, professional services, healthcare, energy, and sustainability.
Reporting to the SVP/EVP, you will work closely with leadership to implement innovative digital strategies, contribute to high-profile client programs, and mentor a talented team of social and digital strategists. This role offers the opportunity to shape impactful social programs while contributing to new business initiatives and helping clients achieve measurable results.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic counsel and helping clients achieve their social and digital goals.
- Design, implement, and measure social and digital campaigns across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
- Collaborate with SVP/EVP and account teams to ensure social strategies align with overall client objectives.
- Oversee content development, creative execution, and social tactics for client programs.
- Mentor and coach digital associates, providing feedback and supporting their career growth.
- Provide insights on messaging, content delivery, and audience engagement to maximize impact.
- Participate in new business efforts, including contributing creative ideas, pitch materials, and client case studies.
- Stay current on social media trends, platforms, and emerging technologies, sharing insights internally and externally.
- Support agency operations by mentoring staff, prioritizing responsibilities, and promoting best practices.
- Represent Highwire at professional events to build thought leadership and industry connections.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, or advertising agency roles.
- Proven success developing and executing digital and social strategies for clients across B2B technology, cybersecurity, professional services, healthcare, energy, and sustainability.
- Strong client-facing experience with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Expertise in both organic and paid social campaigns, with experience in content strategy and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire teams while ensuring high-quality work.
- Experience contributing to new business development, including pitch support and client growth initiatives.
- Strategic, data-driven thinker with the ability to adapt voice, tone, and approach for different clients and audiences.
- Knowledge of social media and content marketing as part of integrated communications programs.
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM strategy is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $195,000, with the final offer based on a combination of factors, including education, relevant experience, skills, prior training, internal equity, and local geographic market data. This role also includes a competitive benefits package with medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, generous paid time off, and additional perks designed to support your overall well-being and growth.
Hybrid and remote work options are available. Candidates located within commuting distance of New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices follow a hybrid schedule, with two in-office days per week. Fully remote roles are available in listed states. Please note: we are only able to consider candidates who reside in one of the listed locations at the time of hire.
