Warehouse and Logistics Specialist
Join our Operations team as a Warehouse and Logistics Specialist. You will collaborate across customer service, supply chain, warehouse and finance to deliver excellent service to our customers. Your responsibilities include reconciling inventory, utilizing SAP and JDE, resolving reconciliation issues and developing best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Generate a daily inventory reconciliation discrepancy report (SAP and JDE Comparison to WMS).
- Investigate and complete root cause analysis to validate inventory balances and transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Complete daily reconciliation of shipments between SAP and JDE and WMS to ensure packing slips, BOL and invoicing are completed on time.
- Manage scrap, sample and spare parts inventory in SAP and JDE.
- Assist with gathering data for inventory control reports to assist in appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all inventory adjustments.
- Resolve and troubleshoot WMS, SAP, and JDE issues related to Operations to avoid disruptions in shipping, receiving and inventory control.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
- 1+ years relevant experience in a similar warehouse and logistics role
Knowledge And Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS certification.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control (SAP and JDE Preferred) and WMS System
- PowerBI experience is an asset but not mandatory
