Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and user-friendly design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes
- Build responsive, user-friendly web pages using modern UI/UX practices
- Customize existing themes and plugins based on business requirements
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and plugins
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and backend developers
- Ensure website security and perform regular updates and backups
- Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- UI/UX design as a plus.
- Experience in building custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of MySQL and database management
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with WooCommerce development
- Knowledge of website hosting, cPanel, and domain management
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working with website security best practices
Salary: 5LPA - 8LPA
