About the roleA high-performing global financial services organization is looking for a Workday Specialist, As a Workday Specialist you will support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday with Recruiting as the primary accountability. This role partners with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions and drive continuous process improvement
Summary of the role and key responsibilitiesConfigure and maintain Workday Recruiting (Job Application Framework, Recruiting Business Processes, Offer Letters, Recruiting Reports, Requisition Management, and Assessment setup) to ensure efficient candidate management.Manage the configuration of Eightfold, our candidate and recruiter-facing AI recruiting solution that integrates directly with WorkdayConfigure and support Workday Advanced Reporting, Learning, and Talent, including calculated fields, complex reports, business processes, condition rules, notifications, and security roles.Own end-to-end recruiting-related workflows in Workday and Eightfold, partnering with Talent Acquisition Operations and Recruiters to reconcile results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.Support and coordinate Workday and Eightfold releases and new feature enablements: review release notes, assess impact, configure updates, and manage testing and sign-off.Serve as a Workday subject matter expert and escalation point for stakeholders; provide guidance on best practices and recommend process and configuration improvements.
Key skills requiredEducation & Experience5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with significant configuration and support experience in Workday RecruitingExperience supporting Eightfold or another CRM that integrates with Workday highly preferred.Experience in the financial services industry is a strong plus Technical SkillsStrong Workday Recruiting configuration skills (Job Application Framework, Recruiting Business Processes, Offer Letters, Recruiting Reports, Requisition Management, and Assessment setup).Experience configuring and supporting Workday Recruiting and at least two of: Recruiting, Learning and Talent.Proven experience with business processes, security groups, calculated fields, and advanced/custom reports.Experience with EIBs and vendor integrations (especially payroll and benefits related) strongly preferred.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and data quality.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex workday configuration and recruiting processes to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsWorkday Pro certification or relevant Workday Recruiting training.Prior experience in a financial services organization using Workday.Participation in at least one Workday implementation or major enhancement project involving Recruiting.
