2026-31 - Business & Math Teacher - WVSS

Business and Math Teacher – Part‑time (0.375 FTE), Term position at West Vancouver Secondary School. Effective September 8, 2026 until June 30, 2027.

The annual salary for a full‑time teaching position ranges from $63,347 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. The salary will be prorated based on FTE.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching Business and Math would be considered an asset.
• Post‑secondary coursework and/or ELL instructional certification considered an asset.
• Knowledgeable in the use of Proficiency Scales for assessment.
• Knowledge of the Ministry of Education Core Competencies, Big Ideas, and Learning Standards for the appropriate curricular area.
• Hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate.
• Commitment to and demonstrated experience using and integrating technology with the curriculum.
• An ability to use a variety of teaching and learning strategies that can accommodate the learning needs of all types of learners.
• A proven ability to develop a positive learning environment in the classroom and evidence of strong organization and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to and successful experience working collaboratively in a team setting.
