Account & Audit Assitant

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Ready to take the next step in your practice career?We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their friendly and professional team.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, with genuine opportunities for progression in the short to medium term.The RoleThis position will involve a mix of audit and accounts work, with audits accounting for approximately 60-70% of your workload.Key responsibilities will include:Planning, managing and completing audits from start to finishPreparing statutory accounts for a range of clientsWorking with limited companies, partnerships and sole tradersPreparing self-assessment tax returns (desirable but not essential)Supporting SME clients with their accounting, audit and tax requirementsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsResponding to client queries in a timely and professional mannerAssisting junior team members where requiredAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will:Be ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experienceHave previous experience working within an accountancy practiceHave operated at Semi Senior or Senior levelPossess strong audit experience and be confident managing assignments independentlyHave experience supporting SME clients across audit, accounting and tax mattersDemonstrate excellent communication and organisational skillsBe proactive, detail-oriented and client-focusedIf you're looking for a role that offers variety, responsibility, and genuine career progression, we'd love to hear from you.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
