Accountant
FREER LIVING SL
Job Description
About Us
Freer Living is a boutique integrated design studio based in Santa María del Camí, Mallorca. We offer architecture, interior design, landscaping, and project management as a single, fully coordinated service. We work with a select number of clients at a time, which means every project — and every person on our team — matters.
The Role
We are looking for a capable, autonomous accountant to take ownership of Freer Living's day‑to‑day finances. You will work directly with the studio director and alongside our external gestoría, who handles regulatory filings. Your focus is on the internal financial health of the studio: clarity, accuracy, and control.
This is not a number‑entry role. We want someone who understands the full financial picture of a small professional studio and can manage it with confidence and initiative.
What you will manage
- Income and expense tracking across all active projects
- Client invoicing and payment follow-up
- Supplier payments and cost reconciliation
- Cash flow monitoring and monthly reporting to the studio director
- Budget control per project, flagging deviations early
- Coordination with the external gestoría for IVA, IRPF, and annual accounts
- Payroll preparation and management as the team grows
- Maintaining organised, audit‑ready financial records
What we are looking for
- Degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of Spanish accounting and fiscal obligations (SL, autónomos, IVA/IRPF)
- Experience working in a small or owner‑managed company — you are comfortable being the only finance person in the room
- Strong written Spanish and written English
- Organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive about spotting issues before they become problems
- Comfortable working with accounting software (Contaplus, Holded, or similar)
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential business information
What we offer
- Full‑time permanent contract (contrato indefinido)
- Salary from €1,800 net per month, according to experience
- A small, close‑knit team with a calm, quality‑focused working culture
- Real autonomy — you own the finance function, not just tasks within it
- Direct relationship with studio leadership
- Stable position with room to grow alongside the studio
How to apply
- Send your CV and a brief note about your background [email protected]. We read every application personally.
