Job SummaryThe Accountant is responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting. This role supports the business by providing reliable financial information, maintaining internal controls, and assisting with budgeting, audits, and tax compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliationsHandle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment follow‑upsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesAssist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentationMonitor expenses, analyze variances, and support cost control initiativesMaintain proper documentation and filing of financial recordsCoordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties such as auditors, banks, and tax authorities
Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (depending on seniority)Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingExperience using accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeGood command of English, both written and spokenGood analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred QualificationsProfessional accounting certification (e.g Brevet A/B)Experience in manufacturing or multinational environmentsKnowledge of local tax regulations and statutory reporting
