– AccountantRole Overview
We are looking for an Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure statutory compliance, monitor cash flow, and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping- Maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Record daily financial transactions.
- Manage journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial records.
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Generate customer invoices and track collections.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payment follow-ups.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns.
- Handle TDS calculations and filings.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial advisors.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting and cash flow management.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Process employee payroll and reimbursements.
- Maintain expense records and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies.
- Support finance-related administrative activities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualifications are an added advantage.
- 1–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals may also apply.
- Accuracy of financial records.
- Timely completion of GST, TDS, and statutory filings.
- On-time invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Accuracy of monthly financial reports.
- Timely completion of bank reconciliations.
- Audit readiness and compliance.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
