Future Automotive Bay Area has an immediate need for an experienced accounts receivable specialist. This position is responsible for a large number of fleet customers and is an integral part of our operations.

The Accounts Receivable Administrator Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $25.00 and $29.00.

Our ideal candidate possesses extensive automotive accounting skills or is in a current account payable, or a general bookkeeping role an automotive dealership.

Job-Specific Expectations

Perform accounting functions by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.

Research and solve payment discrepancies

Process credit card payments and credits as needed.

Make adjustments to accounts as needed

Reconciles statements and follows up collections as necessary.

Files all cash receipt records, check stubs, and bank receipts.

Answers accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.

Performs background checks on credit applications. Gives approvals for current charges.

Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.

Process Cash Deposits.

Run monthly A/R statements

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Excel, CDK (or other automotive DMS) Microsoft Office.

Great attention to detail and solid organizational skills.

Minimum of two years in a current A/P, A/R, or general bookkeeping role in an automotive dealership.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent follow-up skills.

Self-starting.
