Accounts Technician / Bookkeeper

This progressive firm provides a wide range of accounting and business advisory services to SMEs, sole traders, and limited companies across the North West. Your New RoleWorking as part of an experienced team, you will gain exposure to a broad range of general practice accounting responsibilities, for ROI and UK entities, including:

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Completion of VAT returns and Revenue submissions
• Preparation and filing of personal and corporate tax returns
• Bookkeeping and management accounts preparation
• Assisting clients with accounting software and day-to-day queries
• Supporting senior staff with year-end compliance work
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

This role offers excellent variety and exposure across all aspects of accountancy You'll Need to SucceedTo be considered for this position, you should have:

• IATI qualification, be currently studying accounting qualifications, or possess relevant accountancy practice experience
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and tax compliance work
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
