Role Description The Admin & Accounts Manager - Film Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
This role oversees day-to-day administrative operations for film projects, including coordinating schedules, managing production documentation, and maintaining organized records across departments. The manager will handle accounts-related responsibilities such as tracking budgets, processing invoices, monitoring expenses, and supporting financial reporting for ongoing productions. The role includes working closely with production teams to align resources with shooting schedules, ensuring vendors and crew are onboarded and paid accurately and on time.
The Admin & Accounts Manager will also support people-related processes such as coordinating contract paperwork, assisting with crew queries, and helping maintain a smooth, compliant, and efficient production environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Planning skills to coordinate schedules, resources, and timelines across multiple projects. Candidates should possess solid Account Management skills to oversee budgets, expenses, vendor payments, and basic financial documentation.
Candidates should possess effective People Management and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crew, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret production and financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field are beneficial.
Prior experience in film production, media, or entertainment administration and accounts management is highly advantageous. Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and production management tools, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality in financial and administrative records.
