About the Role

As an Admission Counselor, you'll be the first point of contact for aspiring students. You'll understand their goals, recommend the best-fit countries and universities, and own their journey from first enquiry to confirmed admission.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents (walk-in, phone, and online) on study-abroad options — courses, universities, countries, intakes, costs, and career outcomes
• Assess student profiles (academics, budget, goals) and recommend best-fit universities and programs
• Guide students through the complete application process: documentation, SOPs, LORs, and timely submissions
• Advise on admission requirements, English proficiency tests (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE), scholarships, and education loans
• Support visa documentation and coordinate interview preparation
• Follow up on leads, maintain accurate records in CRM, and convert enquiries into enrollments
• Meet monthly counseling and enrollment targets
• Build relationships with partner universities and stay updated on admission cycles, policy, and visa changes
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and webinars

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (education/counseling background a plus)
• 1–3 years of experience in study-abroad counseling, education sales, or admissions
• Knowledge of admission and visa processes for major destinations (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, Gulf)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; strong persuasion and relationship-building ability
• Target-driven mindset with CRM proficiency (LeadSquared/Zoho/Salesforce or similar)
• Empathy, patience, and genuine interest in shaping student futures

Nice to Have

• Certification in career guidance or international education (e.g., ICEF, British Council agent training)
• Experience with Gulf-region student market
• Personal study-abroad experience

Compensation

• Negotiable: ₹3.6 (₹30,000 pm), based on experience
• Attractive incentives per successful enrollment (top performers earn extra per month)
• Performance bonuses, training, and fast-track growth to Senior Counselor / Team Lead
