Job Title: Aircraft Design EngineerLocation: Bangalore, IndiaQualification: BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)Experience Level: 3-5 Years (Preferred)Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Aircraft Design Engineer with strong experience in detailed structural design of aircraft parts and assemblies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in CATIA Composites and a solid understanding of aerospace design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed structural designs for aircraft components and assemblies.Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using CATIA.Work extensively with CATIA Composites for design and analysis of composite structures.Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stress, manufacturing, and quality teams.Perform design validation, tolerance analysis, and support testing activities.Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into final designs.Optimize designs for weight, performance, and manufacturability.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong proficiency in CATIA (with focus on Composites workbench).Solid understanding of aircraft structures and composite materials.Experience in detailed design of aerospace parts and assemblies.Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).Familiarity with aerospace standards and certification requirements.Good problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Preferred SkillsExperience with FEM/FEA tools for structural validation.Exposure to PLM tools (e.g., ENOVIA).Knowledge of manufacturing processes for composites and metals.Soft SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
