Day-to-day responsibilities: Troubleshoots and repairs aircraft systems, engine, electrical and avionics malfunctionsCompletes logbooks, non-routine work cards and documents in accordance with General Maintenance ManualEnsure all steps of a maintenance action and inspection are properly completed prior tosigning compliance on the applicable documentation.Reports to shift lead mechanic or supervisor for work and shift assignmentsConduct other duties as assignedMust be able to read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair and WiringMust be able to use Diagrams System Schematics, and use ATA codesMust have own toolsMust be computer literateMust be able to work flexible hours, shifts and days offMust be willing to workdays, nights and holidays and overtime as requestedMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorshipMust be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, and FBI Fingerprint & 10 Year Criminal Background CheckMust own a current U.S.
Passport or equivalent with applicable visasRequired Education and Experience:A & P License requiredMinimum two (2) years’ experience maintaining DHC-6 required or equivalent other aircraft experience.Avionics and/or structures experience preferred
