Role Description The Architect will work in a full-time, collaborating with internal teams and clients to develop architectural concepts and detailed designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating drawings and models, refining design solutions, and coordinating with engineering and construction stakeholders to ensure feasibility and compliance with codes and standards. The role involves preparing design documentation, reviewing technical specifications, and supporting integration of architectural plans with related systems and disciplines.
The Architect will participate in project planning, track progress against milestones, and help manage communication with clients and consultants. This role requires proactive problem-solving, regular use of collaborative design tools, and consistent alignment with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience developing concepts, plans, and construction documents.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and strong digital collaboration skills for remote work.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and best practices related to sustainability and accessibility.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas clearly and work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
