Role: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales growth and expand SFRI India's presence within the assigned territory. The role involves managing distributor networks, developing new business opportunities, promoting our IVD product portfolio, and building strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate should have strong field sales experience in the IVD or medical devices industry with a proven track record of achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
Develop new business opportunities across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood banks, and healthcare institutions.
Promote SFRI's portfolio of Hematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, and other diagnostic solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, customer meetings, and technical presentations.
Distributor & Channel Management
Appoint, develop, and manage distributors and channel partners.
Drive primary and secondary sales through the distribution network.
Monitor distributor inventory, stock availability, and business performance.
Expand channel presence across the assigned territory.
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with laboratory owners, pathologists, clinicians, purchase departments, and hospital administrators.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement.
Coordinate with internal teams for installations, service support, and issue resolution.
Market Development
Identify new market opportunities and strengthen market penetration.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product launches.
Develop territory-specific business plans to achieve sustainable growth.
Sales Planning & Reporting
Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate sales forecasts.
Submit regular sales reports, customer visit reports, and market intelligence updates.
Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and service teams for seamless customer support.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in the IVD, diagnostics, healthcare, or medical devices industry.
Experience in handling capital equipment sales and business development.
Strong distributor and channel partner management experience.
Good understanding of hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and institutional sales.
Proven field sales experience with consistent target achievement.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
CTC: ₹5–6 LPA (Based on experience and performance)
