The Role As an Art Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic development Plan, assess, and monitor student progress effectively Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives Work collaboratively within a supportive department Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential Degree in Art, Fine Art, Art & Design, or a related subject Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for inspiring young people through creative education Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student development Applicants must live within Lewisham or Greenwich, or be able to commute to the borough within approximately one hour Compliance Requirements Successful applicants will be required to provide: Right to Work documentation (Passport or Share Code) Second form of ID (Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, or Proof of Age document) Proof of Address dated within the last 3 months (Bank Statement or Utility Bill) Two professional references Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one through KPI Education) National Insurance Number Most recent qualification certificate Up-to-date CV Trust ID What’s on Offer?
