Part Qualified Accountant/ Accounting Technician- Hybrid- Belfast City CentreAnnual Salary: £29,000- £31,238 per annumLocation: Belfast City CentreJob Type: Full-time, 12-month fixed term contractReed Recruitment is working with a prestigious Charitable Organisation with offices based in Belfast City Centre. Our client has an immediate requirement for a full-time Part Qualified Accountant/ Accounting Technician to join their team on a full-time basis, for an initial 12-month fixed term contract with possible extension.The successful applicant will be offered a full-time 37-hour contract, working within a fast paced and busy Finance team, that offers flexible working, and hybrid working ( 2 days in office, 3 days at home.The successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following daily duties;Day-to-day of the role:Support Finance Business Partners in delivering a proactive and value-adding finance serviceAssist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentarySupport the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working with service managers to ensure assumptions are robust and aligned to operational plansAssist with in-year reforecastingAnalyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesAssist in preparing financial information for funding applications, tenders, and grant reporting, ensuring full cost recovery principles are applied Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.Previous experience in a finance, credit control, or customs/logistics environment is desirable.Familiarity with compliance processes or regulatory documentation is advantageous Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Hybrid working options available after completion of training.Full training across both Credit Control and Customs functions.Training and development opportunities.A supportive team environment within a leading materials business To apply for this Assistant Finance Business Partner position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position.
