About the Role The Assistant Accountant position sits within the Energia Customer Solutions Business unit and reports to a Senior Accountant within the Gross Margin Team (within the Energia Finance Team).

The ideal candidate will have strong basic accounts skills. Completion of a wide range of P&L and BS reconciliations, including variance analysis. Preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns and RCT notifications.

Assistance in preparation and reconciliation of regulatory returns. Extraction and analysis of data from our billing system. Cash flow analysis & forecasting.

Assist in internal & external audits. Ad-hoc analysis as required. About you Key Criteria What Youll Need Previous experience working in a finance related discipline.

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Demonstrable experience in the proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Desirable Criteria - These help decide between those who meet all the above key criteria: Accounting Technician qualification and/or partial professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
