About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean of Academic Operations and Assistant Chief Academic Officer to lead the design and execution of systems, infrastructure, and processes that ensure consistent, high-quality academic delivery across its multi-campus, multi-program, and multi-modality institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the institutional strategy into operational plans, driving performance in various academic areas, and ensuring operational excellence and alignment to advance student success. This role requires a results-oriented leader with a strong background in health sciences education, including experience in hybrid and online modalities, and a proven track record of senior administrative leadership in complex, multi-campus environments.
Key responsibilities for the Dean of Academic Operations and Assistant Chief Academic Officer include strategic execution and operational alignment, instructional pathway and resource coordination, faculty planning and utilization, curriculum operations and policy, academic governance operations, and financial and operational management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a master's degree with an entry-level clinical degree, 7-10 years of progressive academic administrative experience, and a background in a health sciences field. They should possess strong talent leadership and organizational development skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders.
The role also involves overseeing academic services, leading university-wide initiatives, and ensuring the institution's academic policies and practices are in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
