ASSISTANT CONTROLLER - Mid-town NYC or Costal FL (near Boynton Beach)

Relocation assistance might be negotiated/ 5 days in office - no opportunity to work remotely

REQUIRES EITHER ANNUITY/LIFE INSURANCE CARRIER EXPERIENCE or HEAVY CONCENTRATION OF LIFE/ANNUITY INSURANCE CLIENTS IN PUBLIC ACCOUNTING SETTING

This role offers an almost immediate path to the Controller's chair. We're looking for some solid insurance accounting experience in an annuity/life carrier or will consider public accounting with annuity/life clientele along with strong management/mentorship experience.

REQUIRES, without exception, the accounting and financial operations basics in an annuity/life carrier or public accounting role-general ledger, internal controls, financial analysis, accounting policy, financial statements, banking, financial system, reinsurance, and process improvements. We're targeting a minimum of 6 years' experience showing upward advancement and growth.
