Company Description TWINVEY Electric Private Limited performs Power System studies and carries out electrical engineering design calculations including FEED document preparation for various diverse areas, like, Manufacturing industries, Oil & Gas Industries, Utilities, Airports, Commercial/ high-rise residential buildings.
Role Description This full-time, on-site role involves preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, assisting with load calculations, and helping to develop power distribution layouts under the guidance of senior engineers. The role includes coordinating with project teams, contractors, and vendors, as well as attending site inspections to monitor installation quality and compliance with specifications. The Assistant Electrical Engineer will help prepare technical documentation, reports, and material submittals.
The position also involves adhering to safety standards, project timelines, and company procedures while contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare power system study reports including load flow, short circuit, relay setting, unit protection etc.
- Prepare earthing design calculation report involving Autocad software.
- Respond to RFQs and prepare BOQ and technical proposal.
- Attend data collection related site visits.
- Coordinate with clients and attend technical meetings at client's office.
- Attend site visits for PQ measurement, soil resisitivity measurement and GPR.
- Assist senior staff during training sessions with clients.
- Assist senior staff towards report preparation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, including electricity fundamentals and circuit analysis.
- Proficient in ETAP
- Competence in Electrical Design and layout development for commercial and industrial projects.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load calculation, protection, and coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience with CAD or electrical design software and basic MS Office tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow technical guidance and work on-site.
- Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in an electrical engineering role is an advantage, especially in building services or industrial projects.
