POSITION SUMMARY:The Incoming Quality Control Engineer/Assistant Engineer is mainly responsibility supervising a team of incoming quality control inspectors and technicians working for the quality assurance that only good materials coming from suppliers shall be issued for production use. He uses quality control methodologies in determining if the parts are good or not. This includes the use of sampling inspection techniques and statistical process control in analyzing the parts and related data.
This role also invlove in performing tests, documenting results, and reporting any issues to the SQE Engineer or Manager. He works closely with production teams to get necessary feedback and communicate back to the supplier for analysis and corrective-action.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCY 1. Minimum Diploma for Technical related courses2. Having related experience from an electronic or PCBA company for 2-year3.
Good knowledge of measuring tools4. Ms. Office & ICT Literate 5.
Experience in the automotive is an advantage 6. Able to work under pressure 7. Having Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility8.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 10. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Supervises a team of incoming quality control inspectors and technicians2. Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for incoming materials 3.
Analyzes quality data coming from supplier, Supplier outgoing report4. Communicate and cooperate with SQE to supplier with regards to quality issues which includes the issuance and handling of non-conforming reports5. Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues 6.
Perform SPC study on product critical dimension and parameters 7. Conduct regular inspections of raw materials 8. Perform various tests and measurements to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory standards9.
Use measurement and testing equipment accurately to assess product quality, maintain and keep equipment according to the standard requirement needed 10. Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality assurance activities 11. Prepare and present reports on product quality and non-conformance issues 12.
Document corrective actions and monitor their implementation 13. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality 14. Works safely and follows all safety rules and operational procedures15.
