About the role : This role is to design and optimize the refrigeration cycle. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and optimize the refrigeration cycle Optimize product performance, energy efficiency, and cost through simulation insights. Support prototype development and design validation activities.
VRF System design, product performance & qualification as per ISO standards Apply in-depth knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning cycles for system optimization. Configure VRF systems including outdoor/indoor unit selection and system balancing. Work with sourcing team for development of system related parts Participate in Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives.
Coordinate with design centers for substitution of process/material based on local requirements Support sourcing team to validate vendor process and part development Cross functional collaboration Product Customization as per India business specific requirement Good knowledge of Engineering changes process · Document control & design changes tracking with BOM management · Design transfer & management. EDUCATION PREFERRED: Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering EXPERIENCE PREFERRED : Target experience level: 5 years in HVAC Light commercial / VRF products. Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set : · Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC fundamentals. · Hands-on experience in product development process. · Experience in HVAC product testing and performance analysis with good understanding of Thermal engineering, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics etc · Understanding of ISO standards related to air conditioning systems and global compliance requirements. · Exposure to Inverter technology, VRF · Exposure to product life cycle management tool · Experience in HVAC product development environments. · Exposure to VAVE and cost optimization projects. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
