Role Overview: This role will bridge the gap between technology and business needs for a particular function, serving as the interface for managing IT application development, testing, deployment, and support to end-users. Enabling the alignment of ERP initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Delivery for a function: Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, organizing, implementing solutions, and reporting against plans weekly/monthlyWorking along with Senior Manager - ERP to ensure ERP changes required by the function are prioritised and delieverdServe as the interface with assigned business units or functional areas to facilitate solution discovery, and manage service delivery, risk, and relationships.Partner with business leadership and stakeholders to define opportunities, prioritize IT projects/workstreams, and ensure alignment with functional needs.Provide consulting-level support and guidance through key IT initiatives, leveraging technology to build competitive advantage and enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the assigned function (Demand/Supply/S&OP/Finance)
Process Excellence: Conduct business needs analysis and collaborate on mapping technical specifications to develop and implement function need-based solution roadmaps, ensuring successful introductions across the organization and with customers for the function.Coordinate the development of robust contingency, risk management, and business continuity plans, overseeing existing solution/platform utilization, impact, benefit, and resolution of day-to-day operational issuesDrive continuous improvement in IT operations, security, and system performance by proposing, negotiating, and managing IT budgets in accordance with internal procedures to ensure best value and quality
Technology Expertise:Understand functionality, oversee configuration, implementation and maintain expertise on specific technologies supporting processes.Demonstrate capability to integrate multiple technologies to build business solutionsPartner with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standardsCollaborate with end-users and tech partners to map and deliver a wide range of reporting formats and automated upload toolsConduct awareness-building programs for new hires, employees to facilitate knowledge enhancement and improved functional effectiveness towards ongoing and new tools and applications.
Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison for the assigned function to other functional areas, including business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring effective project delivery to realize business benefits and efficient IT support for ongoing business processesFacilitate regular meetings and consultations with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive consensus on project priorities and requirementsServe as a trusted advisor to business units, IT teams, and customers, providing guidance and support for their needs, anticipating potential issues or conflicts and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and maintain positive relationship
Desired Profile:Demonstrated exposure to established ERP/CRM systems, preferably with experience in leading or participating in ERP implementationsSolid understanding of ERP concepts and their benefits to businessesMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in working with the teams involved in strategic planning, business development, or client management across diverse business unitsProficient in handling a large user base, ranging from approximately 50 to 300 usersTechnical proficiency coupled with analytical orientation to effectively address complex business challengesAbility to effectively manage project delivery through partners and prioritize projects in alignment with senior stakeholders to deliver business valueStrong business acumen enabling the identification of relevant solutions and the ability to introduce new technologiesCapability to inspire confidence among business users and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProven strategic thinking and planning skills, coupled with a track record of operational execution excellence
