We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager (Finance & Accounting ) with specific experience in Airlines Cargo GSSA operation s.

In this role, you will be the financial backbone of our cargo division, managing cargo settlements, freight forwarder invoicing, and complex aviation billing systems . What You Will Do:Principal Settlement & Reporti ng: Prepare, reconcile, and manage monthly/fortnightly financial statements, sales reports, and revenue disbursements for our international airline principa ls.CASS & Billing Manageme nt: Oversee Cargo Account billings, dispute resolutions, and direct billing for agen ts.Receivables & Credit Contr ol: Monitor agent credit limits, track outstanding invoices, and manage collections from freight forwarders to ensure healthy cash fl ow.Taxation & Complian ce: Ensure strict compliance with aviation-specific tax structures, including GST handling on international air freight, withholding taxes, and remittance regulatio ns.Disbursement Accounti ng: Verify and process operational invoices from vendors, handling agents, and airport authorities against agreed contrac ts.Auditing & Reconciliati on: Conduct regular audits of Air Waybills (AWBs), commission structures, and interline billing to eliminate revenue leaka ge.

What We Are Looking For:Educat ion: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Inter-CA / Inter-I CWA.Experie nce: 3 to 6 years of c ore Finance & Accounting experi ence, specifically within an Airline Cargo Finance department or a Cargo G SSA.Domain Expert ise: Thorough understanding of IATA CASS processes, AWB valuation, sector rates, and airline commission structu res.Tech Ski lls: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (Tally/ERP). Experience with airline cargo financial systems is a huge p lus.Attribu tes: High analytical accuracy, strong negotiation skills for credit control, and the ability to meet strict financial reporting deadli nes.
