We're Hiring: Assistant Manager - Packing Location: Jordan Company: GIA ApparelsRole Summary:Support and lead daily packing operations to ensure timely delivery, zero defects, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Drive efficiency through planning, manpower deployment, and continuous improvement of packaging processes.Key Responsibilities:Supervise packing operations to meet quality standards and daily targetsMaintain packing plans, records, and ensure material availability as per production scheduleEnsure zero-defect packing and optimum material utilization with minimal wasteMonitor machines, set up packing equipment, and ensure smooth functioningControl WIP inventory and complete orders within deadlinesCoordinate with Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Engineering teamsEnsure adherence to SOPs, safety practices, and hygiene standardsIdentify and report maintenance issues and reduce non-conformitiesSkills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of packaging processes and garment manufacturingProblem-solving, leadership, and team management skillsDetail-oriented, result-driven, and proactiveAbility to work under pressure and meet targetsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma or relevant qualificationMinimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in packing/production operationsGood communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
