Assistant Preschool Teacher - 3yr Old Room

We are new owners seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Room Preschool Teacher to join our team! We are building a supportive team of educators, with a focus on nurturing a healthy work/life balance.Responsibilities:- Assists and supervises children during ALL activities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences- Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records- Completes all academy and classroom paperwork: daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports, etc- Follows Kiddie Academy and PA state regulations on all health and safety policies and regulations- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning- Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up- Ensures classroom medication schedule is followed, when applicable- Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetingsKiddie Academy of Cranberry Township is an Equal Opportunity EmployerExperience:- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or daycare setting (1 year).- Associates or Bachelors degree, preferred, but not required- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices- Strong understanding of child development milestones and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphereQualifications and Certifications:- Must be 18yrs, or older- U.S. work authorization, if applicable- FBI fingerprinting- NSOR- PA State Police- PA child abuse- Mandatory Reporter Training
