Assistant Professor - Finance

Role Summary:

The Finance Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, research, and academic support in the field of finance. The role includes curriculum development, student mentoring, research publication, and participation in academic and institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Delivery

• Deliver finance courses such as:
• Financial Management
• Business Environment
• Entrepreneurship

• Develop and update course content, case studies, and teaching materials with current financial practices and market trends.
• Use innovative teaching methods, including simulations, digital tools, and blended learning models.
• Engage students with real-world applications of finance through projects, presentations, and case discussions.

Research & Publication

• Conduct research in finance-related areas such as capital markets, fintech, risk management, or behavioral finance.
• Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
• Encourage and guide student research, publications, and finance-related competitions.

Student Mentorship

• Mentor students for internships, industry projects, and career pathways in finance.

Curriculum Development

• Contribute to designing and updating finance curriculum.
• Ensure academic content aligns with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

Institutional Participation

• Serve on academic committees such as admission panels, placement cells, and research boards.
• Support initiatives like finance clubs, guest lectures, workshops, and alumni networking.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Design internal assessments, quizzes, projects, and final evaluations.
• Ensure timely and constructive feedback for student improvement.
