Role Overview ✨The Assistant Retail Operations Manager supports the performance and operational excellence of boutiques across Southeast Asia and Australia. This role ensures consistent execution of brand standards, strengthens store productivity, and supports store teams in delivering a best-in-class luxury client experience across markets.
The position works closely with store leadership and regional functions to ensure smooth implementation of retail initiatives, campaign launches, and operational processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesRetail OperationsSupport daily operations across regional boutiques Ensure alignment with brand standards and retail procedures Monitor operational compliance across markets Support implementation of retail initiatives and campaigns Monitor the operating cost and proactively challenge existing workflows to improve efficiency and maintain cost control
Store Operations Si[[prtOversee daily store operations to ensure retail standards and customer service are consistently met.Handle store administration, paperwork, and provide guidance on stockroom activities.Work closely with store teams to manage stock orders, deliveries, and operational requirements.Assist with daily reporting, including preparing and compiling sales reports.Manage and order uniforms, packaging supplies, and other operational materials.
Maintenance, Security & FacilitiesCoordinate store maintenance issues and work with contractors and service providers.Manage maintenance and service contracts, including renewals and negotiations.Oversee security operations such as CCTV monitoring and security staff readiness, especially during peak periods.Ensure prompt repair of faulty items and manage spare parts and replacements.
Budgeting, Cost Control & Vendor ManagementAssist with budgeting for store operating expenses.Monitor and control costs to stay within OPEX targets.Handle invoicing and payment processing for vendors and contractors.Keep accurate records of vendor performance and contract details.
Cross-Functional CoordinationAct as liaison between boutiques and regional teams including:Merchandising Marketing Visual Merchandising Supply Chain Finance HR / Training Logistics
Store Openings & ProjectsSupport operational readiness for:new store openings renovations relocations pop-ups and activations
Key RequirementsMinimum 5 years retail operations experience Experience in luxury fashion or premium retail preferred Proven experience supporting store openings, renovations, or retail project rollouts. Previous exposure to vendor management, facilities coordination and procurementBudgeting and Cost Control experienceExposure to multi-country retail environments across Southeast Asia and/or Australia preferredStrong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working with regional stakeholders
