Associate - Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to bridge business goals and technology solutions. You will analyze and refine business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into actionable system requirements.

You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are well designed, practical, and deliver real business value.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document requirements: collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, prioritize requirements, and translate them into use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and business requirement documents.
• Support solution design & implementation: work with technical and business teams to design, document, and implement system solutions that align with business needs, prepare scope documents and mockups, and coordinate approvals.
• Process analysis & optimization: evaluate and document existing business processes, develop process models and workflows, and recommend innovative improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Risk assessment & prioritization: assess risks and impacts of proposed solutions, and prioritize competing business demands to ensure project success.
• Cross‑functional collaboration: partner with teams throughout specification, testing, and implementation phases to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
• BRD oversight & query resolution: follow up on technical BRD preparation, ensure timely reviews and approvals, and resolve functional queries.
• Testing, validation & UAT coordination: support solution validation by delivering requirement walkthroughs, assisting in system testing and user acceptance testing, and coordinating signoffs from business users.
• Ensure quality standards: validate that developed solutions meet defined business and technical requirements, maintaining alignment with quality standards.
• Documentation & continuous improvement: maintain comprehensive business process and system documentation, including flowcharts, data models, and business rules, and stay current with industry best practices to continuously improve analysis quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience is considered.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst with exposure to IT projects; experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, stakeholder communication, and testing coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in tools and techniques such as UML, BPMN, use cases, Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and SQL; experience with data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) and API testing (SoapUI/Postman) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Scrum certification is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and formatting skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, well‑structured requirement materials.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude under pressure.
• Experience working closely with senior business analysts, product owners, or other key stakeholders for guidance and best‑practice implementation.
