Associate Director

I'm currently partnering with a highly regarded global private markets investment firm that is expanding its US Tax & Structuring Strategic Projects team and is seeking a Director (or a strong Associate Director ready for the next step).

Location: NYC

Salary: 300-350K + 30% bonus (bonus can reach 200%) + 20K in shares

This isn't a traditional technical tax role. While deep expertise in US fund structuring and tax is critical, the firm is specifically looking for someone who can operate as a strategic project leader—someone comfortable driving change, navigating complexity, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading initiatives across investment, legal, finance, compliance, capital raising, and external advisors.

• Lead US fund structuring initiatives across real estate and private wealth products
• Partner directly with senior leadership on new fund launches and product innovation
• Drive strategic projects, integrations, governance enhancements, and scalable operating models
• Play a key role in shaping the firm's US structuring platform and long-term growth strategy

The ideal background includes:

• 10+ years of experience in fund formation, investment structuring, and US tax matters
• Strong understanding of real estate investment structures
• In-house experience within private equity, asset management, alternative investments, or broader financial services environments
