Role Title: Associate Translator INDPosition Summary:Associate Translator IND provides an accurate translation of technical and non-technical documents from one language to another to meet customer requirements and government regulations.

Job Responsibilities:Provides accurate translation of engineering reports and correspondence per engineering standards.Ensure accuracy of translations by understanding the technical content of reports through use of technical databases, and/or reference material such as electronic dictionaries and consultations with field engineers and specialists.Ensure timely issuance of translated Loss Prevention Reports and correspondence by complying with translation processing standards to meet customer requirements through the use of an electronic translation workload database.Maintains an accurate translation workload electronic database.Monitors and prioritizes the translation workload to ensure efficient completion of work.May be required to handle special projects such as Loss correspondence, brochure translation etc. at the discretion of the Engineering Process Manager.

Skill and Experience:5+ years of experience required to perform essential job functions.Additional Experience Qualifier (optional): translating technical documentsComplete fluency in English as well as the mother tongue.Proficient in use of a personal computer and software programs such as a word processing system.

Must Have Skills:German and English language fluency skills required. Other global language(s) are a benefit.Experience translating technical documents.Strong project-management and analytical skills.Independent, self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines.Technology proficient with MS Office suite.

Education and Certifications:Bachelor's degree required.
