Autocad Drafter

Position OverviewWe are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with hands-on experience in machine building / industrial machinery / SPM, with strong expertise in AutoCAD for preparing high-quality engineering drawings.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for machine components, assemblies, and sub-assembliesDevelop GA (General Arrangement), fabrication, and assembly drawings with high accuracyCreate part drawings and detailed fabrication drawings for machined and fabricated componentsGenerate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) in coordination with design and ERP (SAP preferred)Collaborate closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturabilityEnsure all drawings comply with relevant manufacturing standards, tolerances, and specificationsRevise and update drawings based on internal reviews, engineering changes, and customer feedbackWork on drawings related to hydraulic and mechanical presses, machine tools, and special purpose machines (SPM)Prepare drawings for fabricated and machined components, ensuring accuracy and completeness

️ Required SkillsVery strong command on AutoCAD (mandatory)Expertise in: Machine Building / SPM , Industrial Machinery / Equipment , Fabrication & Assembly DrawingsDimensional & Geometrical Tolerancing (GD&T)Machining symbols and surface finish indicationsFits and tolerances (limits, allowances, ISO system)Welding symbols (as per standards)SAP knowledge will be an added advantage (BOM handling / drawing integration)

Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3+ years of experience in machinery manufacturing companies only
