Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled automotive Technician with Red seal trade/Journeyman Certificate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background Vehicle repair, maintenance, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves working with various hand tools, repairs, maintenance. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our operations.

Our ideal candidate:

• SGI certified (asset)
• Red Seal trade/ Journeyman certificate (required)
• 5 + years of experience in the automotive industry
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools is required
• Own tools
• Maintains and repairs vehicles and equipment and utilizes a variety of hand and power tools and equipment
• Performs overhaul, engine/ transmission replacement timing belt/chain replacement.
• Diagnoses and effects repairs of transmissions, clutches, front/rear axles, differentials, brake systems, drive lines, etc.
• Performs inspections and safety checks (digital based inspection)
• Teamwork Lending a hand / Asking for help with a problem.
• Perform a variety of skilled work not requiring the service of other licensed trades.
• Operate vehicles to move in and out of the garage, do road tests and road repair.
