AV Project Engineer
POWER BRIDGE SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED
Job Description
We are looking for an AV Project Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of audio-visual projects out of our Chennai office — from design and planning through installation, commissioning, and client handover. You will work closely with sales, OEM partners, and on-site teams to deliver high-quality AV solutions for conference rooms, auditoriums, and enterprise collaboration spaces, with customer satisfaction as the top success metric.
What You'll Do
Plan and execute AV projects end-to-end, from kickoff through final client sign-off.
Supervise and coordinate on-site installation activities across vendor and contractor teams.
Conduct quality assurance, testing, and commissioning of integrated AV systems.
Manage client communication and stakeholder updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery.
Provide technical guidance to installation and programming teams on signal flow, control, and conferencing setups.
Troubleshoot integration issues across Crestron, AMX, video conferencing, and audio DSP platforms.
Drive client handover with documentation, training, and formal acceptance sign-offs.
Requirements
Must-Have
2+ years of hands-on experience executing AV integration projects end-to-end.
Strong working knowledge of AV system integration — displays, matrix switching, audio DSP, and control systems.
Familiarity with Crestron and AMX control platforms.
Experience with enterprise conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, or Cisco/Poly endpoints.
Project management discipline — planning, tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Strong troubleshooting skills across signal flow, network, and AV-over-IP issues.
Comfortable owning client interactions and on-site coordination.
Good-to-Have
AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification.
OEM certifications from Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, or QSC.
Exposure to AV-over-IP protocols (Dante, HDBaseT, NDI).
Experience delivering AV projects for large enterprise or campus environments.
Benefits

- Long-term benefit savings plan with employer matching contributions.
- Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.
