Infra Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI Engineer (Partner Delivery)Location: Remote (Indonesia)About the RoleOur client is looking for a hands-on Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI Engineer to join our partner delivery team, supporting enterprise customers across hybrid cloud environments.This is a customer-facing role requiring strong technical depth and delivery capability across Azure hybrid infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local solutions at scale. Key ResponsibilitiesAzure Stack HCI / Azure Local DeliveryLead end-to-end implementation of Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local solutions (design, deployment, expansion, upgrades, decommissioning) Work with customer production environments across versions (21H2, 22H2, 23H2+) Manage Azure integration including subscription registration, licensing, and Azure Arc dependencies Deploy and validate environments using Windows Admin Center and PowerShell Perform lifecycle management, including upgrades and cluster-aware updating (CAU) Compute & VirtualizationManage and optimize Hyper-V environments on Azure Stack HCI Provision VMs, ensure high availability, and optimize performance Support both Windows and Linux workloads Enable GPU workloads (GPU-P, DDA) for VDI, AI/ML, and high-performance computing Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments on HCI Storage & Data ServicesDesign and manage Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) environments Optimize storage performance, capacity planning, and resiliency Implement disaster recovery solutions using Storage Replica NetworkingDesign and implement HCI networking (RDMA, SMB Direct, QoS) Configure host networking (SET, VLANs, MTU/Jumbo Frames) Troubleshoot network performance issues (latency, throughput, packet loss) Apply SDN and VM-level security controls Azure Arc & Hybrid ManagementDeploy and manage Azure Arc-enabled HCI environments Configure Arc Resource Bridge, VM management, and extensions Integrate with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and governance policies Security & IdentityImplement security best practices (Secure Boot, TPM, BitLocker, Shielded VMs) Configure hybrid identity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID Integrate with Defender for Cloud for hybrid protection Kubernetes & Modern WorkloadsDeploy and operate AKS on Azure Stack HCI Manage container networking, storage, and upgrades Support Arc-enabled Kubernetes and GitOps workflows Operations & SupportSet up monitoring and observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting across infrastructure layers Handle customer escalations and production incidents Ensure systems meet supportability and upgrade requirements Automation & DeliveryDevelop PowerShell scripts for deployment and operations Drive automation and standardization of delivery processes Support CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices Work within partner delivery / MSP / managed services environments RequirementsProven hands-on experience with Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local in enterprise environments Strong expertise across compute, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud architecture Experience with Azure Arc and hybrid infrastructure management Solid scripting skills in PowerShell Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills Experience working with OEM hardware (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco) is a plus
