Backend Developer

We are looking for 7x Backend .NET Developers across Junior, Professional (Mid), and Senior levels to join one of our clients in Lisbon. You will help build and operate a Sales Integration Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate robust C# (.NET 8+) microservices using event-driven patterns on Azure (including Service Bus, Event Hub, and Kubernetes).
• Engineering excellence.
• Actively shape CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps YAML), Infrastructure as Code (Bicep), and containerization (OCI images) to keep our delivery efficient and reliable.
• Production ownership.

Your Profile

• Degree in Software Engineering or similar professional qualification.
• 2-15 years of experience in backend development with C#.NET (Azure).
• Strong track record of designing cloud architectures, owning complex production systems.
• Solid command of ASP.NET Core (MVC or Minimal API), async/await, dependency injection, and configuration management.
• Strong understanding of DDD, Event-Driven Architecture, etc.
• Solid experience with unit and integration testing.
• Languages: English C1.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, collaboration, team player, agile mindset (Comfortable working in agile teams, focus on continuous improvement, shared ownership, etc.

Bonus points:

• Observability tools like OpenTelemetry and Azure Monitor / Application Insights.
• Advanced Kubernetes concepts, Helm charts, and operators.
• Workflow orchestration using Temporal.io.
• Security & authentication via Entra ID (App Registrations, JWT).
• Architecture documentation following the arc42 framework.
