Backend Engineer

The Opportunity: As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing backend systems that power our operational and customer engagement platforms.You will work on high-impact systems such as user engagement, personal trainer management, HR System, and data-driven services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across our platform. What You Will Do:Collaborate with Product, Design, Commercial, and Operations teams to deliver scalable and high-quality features.Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Go.Define data models, API contracts, and system architecture for new features.Optimize application performance, including database queries and system throughput.Handle concurrent processes and ensure efficient resource utilization.Troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.Contribute to system reliability, monitoring, and observability.Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.Ensure system security and follow backend best practices.

What We Need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.3-4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang).Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic system design.Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB/Firestore).Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.Experience with version control and CI/CD processes.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
