Backend Engineer

We're building a scalable, tech-first backbone for digital commerce and are expanding our engineering team to strengthen our core infrastructure. Role Overview We're looking for a Backend Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain complex functional flows for our core products.

You will work closely with frontend engineers, and DevOps to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient backend systems. What You'll Do Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Flask Design efficient database schemas and write optimized queries in PostgreSQL Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to integrate and deploy new features Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices What You Bring Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing backend systems for complex product workflows Strong expertise in Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals Good debugging, testing, and documentation skills Clear communication and a collaborative mindset Experience with android app development is a bonus What We Offer Opportunity to work on meaningful, large-scale systems Lean, fast-paced tech team Competitive compensation Hybrid/remote flexibility
