Banking – Fund Finance Associate Attorney
Direct Counsel is seeking a Banking – Fund Finance Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in New York, New York or Charlotte, North Carolina.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 3-6+ years of finance experience to join a nationally recognized Fund Finance practice. The team represents leading banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions in sophisticated financing transactions, offering significant client interaction and exposure to complex domestic and cross-border lending matters.
ResponsibilitiesRepresent lenders and financial institutions in a wide range of fund finance transactions.
Advise clients on syndicated lending, commercial lending, and leveraged finance matters.
Structure and negotiate subscription credit facilities, NAV financings, acquisition financings, and other complex lending transactions.
Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and related financing documentation.
Conduct due diligence and manage transaction closings.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary legal teams on sophisticated financing matters.
Provide strategic legal advice throughout all stages of complex lending transactions.
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in a U.S. state bar.
3-6+ years of relevant law firm experience in finance transactions.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Fund finance
Syndicated lending
Commercial lending
Leveraged finance
Fund formation
CLOs
Asset-based lending
NAV financings
Acquisition financings
Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage sophisticated transactions while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $260,000-$390,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
