A global leader in the professional services sector is seeking an Bid / RFP Response Strategy Manager to lead their Dublin-based proposal team. This is a pivotal position focused on elevating the quality of commercial submissions and driving the strategic direction of the bid function.
Role Overview
As the Bid / RFP Response Strategy Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end proposal lifecycle. Your mission is to ensure the delivery of accurate, compliant, and highly compelling responses that secure new business. You will act as a bridge between the commercial leadership and the proposal team, implementing best-in-class processes and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Proposal Managers through active coaching and development.
- Manage the intake and qualification framework for all incoming RFP requests.
- Drive the adoption of proposal automation tools and maintain high standards for content quality.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to refine value propositions for high-value opportunities.
- Oversee the strategic response for complex, large-scale tenders.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in bid management, proposal development, or sales operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional workflows and complex project timelines.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to craft persuasive commercial content.
- Experience in a managerial or lead capacity, with a focus on team development.
- Experience with proposal software (e.g., Qvidian or Responsive) is an advantage.
