Responsibilities
In this role, you'll manage an established book of Commercial Lines accounts while building long-term client relationships and helping businesses protect what they've worked hard to build.
- Manage Commercial Lines accounts, including endorsements, renewals, certificates, audits, billing questions, and day-to-day customer service.
- Build long-term relationships with commercial clients through proactive communication, account reviews, and trusted insurance advice.
- Identify account-rounding and cross-selling opportunities by recognizing clients' evolving insurance needs.
- Process and track renewals according to agency timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate client documentation, policy records, and agency management system activities.
- Work with multiple insurance carriers, underwriters, and agency management systems to provide timely solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to improve workflows, enhance client experience, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide backup support for the Personal Lines team during vacations, absences, and peak workloads.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on insurance products, technology, and industry changes.
- Take ownership of assigned accounts by proactively identifying potential coverage concerns, following through on client requests, and delivering exceptional service.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Property & Casualty License
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- Minimum 2 years of insurance agency experience
Preferred Experience
- Commercial Lines servicing experience
- Endorsements, renewals, certificates, and policy changes
- Experience with agency management systems
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, proactive approach to client service
- Willingness to cross-train and support Personal Lines when needed
