Bridge Expert

Educational Qualification:

\n
• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering
\n

Experience:

\n
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in construction supervision and/or Quality Control
\n
• Proven experience in urban bridge and flyover projects
\n

Roles & Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide technical expertise for construction supervision and quality control of bridges and flyovers
\n
• Review and ensure compliance of structural drawings, designs, and technical specifications with approved standards and contract requirements
\n
• Supervise construction activities including foundations, substructures, superstructures, bearings, expansion joints, and approach works
\n
• Monitor implementation of QA/QC procedures and ensure quality of materials and workmanship
\n
• Review contractor's method statements, construction sequences, and quality assurance plans
\n
• Carry out inspections, testing, and verification of structural components and construction materials
\n
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues during execution of works
\n
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives for effective project implementation
\n
• Verify measurements, certify quantities, and assist in preparation of interim payment certificates
\n
• Prepare technical inputs for progress reports and completion documentation
\n
• Ensure compliance with safety, traffic management, and environmental requirements at site
\n

Key Skills & Competencies:

\n
• Strong knowledge of bridge and flyover construction practices
\n
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and specifications
\n
• Experience with RCC / PSC structures and associated construction techniques
\n
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills
