Business Analyst - Business Intelligence

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the glass and automotive services industry, currently undergoing a major multi-year data transformation program built on Azure and AWS. This is a hybrid Business Analyst/functional PO role embedded within a cross-functional data team. You'll be the bridge between the business and the technical teams, gathering requirements, documenting solutions, and making sure offshore developers build exactly what the business needs.

What you'll be doing Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to surface the real need behind every request Write clear business requirements documents, functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Map and document current business processes, actors, and data flows Reverse‑engineer and document existing SSIS solutions Validate that delivered data meets business requirements Coordinate with architects and the dev lead to ensure the offshore development team understands functional expectations Own scope: flag scope creep early and escalate when needed Plan and coordinate UAT; support user onboarding Act as first point of contact for incoming tickets and production incidents Work closely with the project manager and commit to the agreed delivery plan What we're looking for A BI developer background who has grown into a business analyst role Strong SQL skills Solid data warehousing and data engineering knowledgeHands‑on experience reading and documenting SSIS packages Comfortable working with Azure and AWS at a conceptual level Power BI at a user level (building simple validation reports, no DAX or modelling required) Bilingual English/French (technical English is sufficient, native level not required) BABOK certification is a plus Compensation & benefits Employment: Full‑time permanent Competitive salary + 10% bonus + RRSP with 3% employer match + 4 weeks vacation + group health insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
