Job Description
Systematix is currently seeking a Business Analyst for our client, a major provincial utility organization, to support the Nuclear Business Technology (NBT) program within a large enterprise utility environment. This role focuses on requirements management, workshop facilitation, business process analysis, journey mapping, and delivery support for strategic technology initiatives supporting nuclear business operations.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The successful consultant will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to support enterprise modernization initiatives through business analysis, planning, requirements elicitation, documentation, business process modeling, and delivery coordination. This is a highly collaborative, business-facing role requiring exceptional facilitation, communication, and analytical skills.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Nuclear Business Technology program through business analysis and delivery activities.
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and operational requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative working sessions.
- Develop use cases, process flows, journey maps, and business process models.
- Translate business requirements into actionable documentation and delivery artifacts.
- Support planning documentation and requirements management.
- Create testing materials, scripts, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and UAT documentation.
- Analyze complex business concepts and operational processes.
- Collaborate with business, technical, and program stakeholders.
- Support technology adoption and operational readiness.
REQUIREMENTS – Must-have
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting software delivery projects.
- Exceptional communication, documentation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
- Business process modeling and requirements management experience.
- Experience supporting testing, acceptance criteria, and UAT.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
REQUIREMENTS – Nice-to-have
- CBAP or equivalent certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Knowledge of User Centered Design and Business Architecture.
- Journey Mapping experience.
- Familiarity with modern enterprise technologies.
- Utility or regulated industry experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Onsite (Regina, Saskatchewan)
Planned Start Date: August 6, 2026
Planned End Date: August 31, 2027
Duration: Approximately 13 months
Guaranteed Utilization: 100%
Work Arrangement: Onsite.
PAY DISCLOSURE
Intermediate (5–8 years): $75–$90/hr
Senior (8+ years): $90–$105/hr
Compensation is commensurate with experience, certifications, and Saskatchewan public-sector market benchmarks.
