The Team

The Job
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to support the build, maintenance and tracking of the business cases that justify regional investment across product development, M&A, new opportunities and data. In this role, you will work directly with the Senior Director and across the wider regional team to turn strategic intent into rigorous, defensible commercial cases.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the Senior Director in authoring business cases for medium and high‑effort platform development initiatives across Resale, Pricing, Football integration, Venue capabilities, Anti‑fraud/KYC, Insurance, Packages, Merch, Payments and other regional priorities.
- Build and maintain the financial models behind business cases for M&A targets – sizing, synergies, integration costs, post‑close contribution margin and payback – and support leadership through integration.
- Develop opportunity sizing and modelling for new growth opportunities such as football clubs, promoter advances, venue exclusivity contracts, partnership extensions, and ancillary revenue rollouts.
- Maintain the LATAM strategic financial model – investment, contribution margin, payback, sensitivities – and extend market‑level models from Brazil into Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile and other countries as the pipeline expands.
- Support the cost control and savings view across the business in partnership with the Senior Manager and the regional Finance team, identifying cost takeout opportunities and tracking savings against plan.
- Track ROI realisation post‑launch in partnership with the BI Visualisation Analyst – compare projected returns against actuals and flag variances for review.
- Help ensure approved business cases flow into the future financial plan, that delivery timelines are reflected, and that ROI variances are visible to leadership.
- Produce supporting analyses for the Manager, Client Product Solutions ahead of the bi‑weekly Platform Development meeting and the monthly Strategy alignment session.
- Provide ad‑hoc analytical support to the Strategy Manager on M&A integration planning, including synergies, headcount, and cost modelling.
- Produce executive‑ready outputs – sensitivity views, scenario analyses, and presentation packs – that enable confident decision‑making at regional and global levels.
What You Need To Know (Technical Skills)
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills; Portuguese or Spanish required (ideally both).
- Strong commercial modelling skills – Excel to a high standard, sensitivity and scenario analysis; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau a plus.
- Able to build rapport quickly with internal stakeholders across country teams, regional Finance, central M&A, and global Product.
- 3–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate development, FP&A, or commercial strategy.
- Demonstrated experience building business cases or investment models used in real decisions, ideally at executive level.
- Commercial instinct for live entertainment, ticketing, payments, or platform businesses – direct experience preferred but not essential.
- Comfortable working with incomplete data, making and defending assumptions, and iterating quickly under time pressure.
- International travel could be required, up to 4 weeks per year.
You (Behavioural Skills)
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision, while providing accountability of progress through regular reporting and communication.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage expectations across multiple parallel business cases and modelling streams.
- A self‑starter and creative problem‑solver with the ability to quickly understand the commercial mechanics of new business areas.
- Pragmatic in approach and delivery focused – timely, defensible, decision‑ready analyses is the predominant driver.
- Intellectually honest – willing to flag when a case does not hold up, recommend against an investment, or surface uncomfortable assumptions.
