Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Business Developer to support our local office. In this role, you will work within a defined territory to build relationships with local businesses and provide customized hiring and workforce solutions. This is a sales-focused position ideal for someone who enjoys networking, problem-solving, and driving results.

Essential Functions

• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to understand their hiring and workforce needs
• Educate clients on Express Employment’s staffing, leadership, and human resources solutions
• Research and prospect new business opportunities within the assigned territory
• Manage and grow an existing book of business
• Interact directly with clients throughout all phases of the sales process
• Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily sales activities
• Negotiate pricing and prepare service agreements
• Consistently meet or exceed sales and activity goals

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: Base salary plus commission- Estimated annual earnings: $35,000–$55,000, depending on experience

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
